We asked maybe 7 of our short questions to get to know him better.
1. What is the most inspiring and forming your approach to patient care?
I have been on the other side many times with various family members. When you are there and you are in a frightening situation, you begin to understand the patient’s feelings. Now I can approach him with more empathy and understanding.
2. What is your favorite part of your job?
See the patient doing well. It is very useful when we work hard to give the best patients on treatment we can. When we see them doing well and live their lives, it’s very useful.
3. What is your biggest fear when you are a patient?
I have the main needle phobia. I can operate in patients, but having my own blood makes me faint a little.
4. What do you do to get rid of stress?
Go to nature. I like climbing with my husband and son. We are happy to go to the Shenandoah mountains, and are around the forest and trees. That’s very relaxed for me.
5. Dogs or cats?
We have a cat.
6. The last film you watch? Thumb up or down?
I watched this new wicked and was great.
7. The best advice you have ever heard of?
Listen to yourself; Listen to your intuition. That is something that really brought me through many difficult situations, and I think that’s the best suggestion I can give to anyone.
