Starbucks Holiday Drinks Coming Soon: What’s on the Menu This Year

This may be a controversial opinion, but I can take or leave most of Starbucks’ fall drinks. The classic Pumpkin Spice Latte always works for me (there are better fall flavors out there, IMO). I might pick up a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew once a season just for old times’ sake, but I don’t get too excited when the fall menu comes and goes. However, once Starbucks launches its holiday menu, that’s when you’ll find me lining up to enjoy my own festive holiday drink. Part of my excitement comes from the fact that the holiday season is by far my favorite time of year (blame it on my birthday in December), but it’s also the nostalgia of it all. I always enjoyed the annual tradition of enjoying a Starbucks holiday drink with my mom and sister before heading out to do some Christmas shopping.

And now, the wait is almost over as Starbucks just announced the release date for this year’s holiday drink. Here’s when Starbucks holiday drinks will be available in stores, plus what’s on the menu in 2025:

When are Starbucks holiday drinks coming back?

Starbucks holiday drinks will officially be available in stores on Thursday, November 6. But there’s one thing to note: Not all holiday drinks will be available right away. According to an Instagram post from Starbucks’ official account, some fan-favorite drinks won’t be released until the “late season.” However, the launch date for the second phase of the holiday menu has not been announced.

What is Starbucks’ holiday menu for 2025?

Starbucks’ holiday menu for 2025 includes the return of classics like Peppermint Mocha, Iced Sugar Cookie Latte, Iced Gingerbread Chai, and Caramel Brûlée Latte (my personal favorite). At the end of the season, Starbucks is also bringing back the Chestnut Praline Latte and Egg Nog Latte, which will return after a gap of several years.

  • Caramel Brûlée Latte
  • Iced Gingerbread Chai
  • Iced Sugar Cookie Latte
  • Peppermint mocha
  • Chestnut Praline Latte (at the end of the season)
  • Eggnog Latte (at the end of the season)

One thing that won’t be returning this year? Any Cran-Merry drink. This non-coffee drink—which combines cranberry and orange flavors with warm spices like cinnamon and cardamom—became a new addition to the menu last year. Fans were quick to express their frustration in the comments section of Starbucks’ post, with some users echoing the call to “bring back cranmerry refreshment.” However, unless Starbucks pulls a 180 à la Apple Crisp, it looks like Cran-Merry fans will be disappointed this year.

On the food side of the menu, you’ll of course find classic treats like the Cranberry Bliss Bar and Sugar Plum Cheese Danish. New to the bakery industry this year is Pull-Apart Cinnamon Bread. And if you’re feeling extra festive, you can order an adorable Snowman Cake or a new Polar Bear Cake Pop to pair with your Peppermint Mocha.

  • Cranberry Happiness Bars
  • Danish Sugar Plum Cheese
  • Cinnamon Pull-Away Bread
  • Snowman Cake
  • Polar Bear Cake Pop

It feels like fall has just begun, but I’ll personally be counting down the days until Starbucks holiday drinks are back on the menu.
