Gifts for Teachers: Easier than you think!

Every year, when teacher appreciation day, the end of the school year or the Christmas holidays roll around, I get a lot of messages asking about teacher gift ideas.

And if you’ve been here any time, you know, I think there are two correct answers.

The first is – good news! – free!

Write a heartfelt note to the teacher about why you appreciate them and why you’re glad your child is in their class (or have your child write it down!).

If you would like additional credit, send a copy of the letter or note to the principal or administration.

So many teachers tell me they throw away almost everything else, but they keep these notes for decades, pulling them out on tough days.

And if you want to spend money? The correct answer is gift cards.

Here’s why I think so – one of my close friends is married to an elementary school teacher and she told me that she doesn’t even let him bring all the cups, candles and knick-knacks into the house – they go straight to the donation bin because there’s no room in the house for them all, year after year.

The good news is that gift cards are not only the most appreciated gift, but also the easiest and most fun gift for a teacher!

Every year, I go to Target, pick out a stack of gift cards (if my girls are with me, I have them pick out the designs they want for their teachers because they’ll know if their teachers like llamas or their favorite color is yellow), fill them all out and boom. The teacher’s gift is complete.

We all know that teachers don’t make much money by spending day in and day out educating your child, so a gift card that allows them to go out to dinner, grab a coffee, buy school supplies, or buy a new pair of shoes would be much appreciated.

And it doesn’t have to be a big gift card.

Every time I mention gift cards for teachers on Instagram, I get dozens of messages from teachers saying things like, “A $5 gift card for Starbucks is AWESOME! I use it for a special drink every Friday of the year and feel so grateful.”

So don’t feel like you have to shell out a $50 gift card for it to be appreciated – even a few dollar gift card will do!

And if you really need to include a small gift, here are some items that would make great gifts for teachers:

10 GREAT GIFTS FOR TEACHERS

Steam Eye Mask
This is a very popular teacher gift idea this year. This product comes in several calming scents and is perfect for relaxing after a long day or soothing tired eyes. After a year of hard work, our teachers deserve a little spa moment!

Skin Liver Marker
This leather heart bookmark makes a simple and thoughtful gift. And when it comes to teachers, many of them are avid readers, so this is normal. They are also easy to share among multiple teachers. If you know their reading preferences, pairing them with books will take it to the next level and create a great teacher gift.

Bath SteamerBath Steamer

Body Recovery Steamer
There’s nothing more relaxing than a hot shower, but to make it even better, use a shower steamer to add a little aromatherapy. We could all use a spa day, especially with a teacher after a long day! (they are individually wrapped so you can share them).

PenPen

FIOVER Gel Pen
This pen is great! It’s very affordable, easy to write with, and truly one of my favorites. Teachers always need pens for quick notes – now they are in full supply!

Mini Cooler Bag
If asked, most children will know their teacher’s favorite drinks and snacks. Fill this mini cooler with four cans of his favorite drink along with his favorite snacks and you’ve got a great gift. I love that this mini cooler can be used again and again all summer long!

Hard Side Zipper Case
I bought some of these at the beginning of last summer and I can’t believe how beneficial they are – I’m so obsessed with them! They are very convenient for storing sunscreen, snacks, card games, and, of course, school supplies. And I love that none of the insides are squashed. Under $4? It wouldn’t matter if I bought a pair and filled them with some goodies!

Geometry Towel
Everyone uses kitchen towels, but these really are a cut above the rest. I love giving practical gifts that feel a little more special, and Geometry towels really fit the bill. They come in a variety of fun colors and patterns, making it easy for you to choose the one that best suits your teacher’s personality. Use my affiliate code JANSSEN15.

Mini Box Cutter
I will never stop recommending this as a gift! This is one of the most practical—and apparently frequently used—items I provide and recommend. Add a little note that says, “You are ahead of the pack,” and soon they’ll be using it to cut butcher paper for bulletin boards or open boxes of classroom supplies and books.

Portable Phone Charger
This is one item I absolutely cannot live without! And it’s the kind of gift that’s guaranteed to come in handy – it can slip into a purse, stash in the car, add to a travel bag, or stash on a bedside table for everyday convenience.

Magnetic Marker
I couldn’t stop at just one book themed gift idea! And if you haven’t tried magnetic bookmarks, you’re missing out. This would be a fun and practical gift for any teacher who loves to read.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
