Christmas Coloring Sheets

Let me tell you a little about this Christmas Coloring Sheet Calendar.

• It’s completely free! You can download as many copies as you want for personal use (enter your email address at the bottom of this post and it will go straight to your inbox). You may share it with friends, give it as a gift, offer it at your library, or print it for all your grandchildren! As long as you don’t sell it, you can use it however you like! We designed this to be used and we WANT it to be printed and distributed as much as possible!
• You can print it any size you want! I have a personal preference for a 36×48 engineering print that costs less than $8 to print (instructions for a print engineer print here). But it’s also very good at 24×36 or 18×24. You can even print it on a regular sheet of paper with your home printer!
• You can color it all at once or a little each day – there’s no wrong way! Hand over some crayons or pencils or markers and a copy of the Christmas coloring sheet and go to town – there are so many fun details and it’s a lot of fun to color. You can color them all at once at the beginning of the month or do a little each day as you keep reading! You can also give each child a copy or use one copy to share with the whole family.
• There are reading activities every day from December 1 – 24. Of course, the highlight of this Christmas Coloring Sheet Calendar is reading every day with your children. At the bottom of the calendar are suggested activities for each day. You can do them in any order you want and if you need suggestions of books to read, I have general lists and themed lists here, so if you need some suggestions for reindeer books or nativity books or snowman books, I’ve got you covered!

Some Fun Ways to Use Your Christmas Coloring Sheet Calendar

There is no right or wrong way to use Christmas Coloring Sheets, but here are some ideas to get you started.

• Give as a gift. If you add a new Christmas book to your collection every year, roll up a copy of the printable advent calendar and tie it on top! (it’s also the perfect neighbor gift – allergy free!).
• Make one giant copy advent coloring calendar and let your kids color it on the snowy days leading up to December!
• Have a coloring party! It’s not just for kids – adults can get in on the fun too. Plus, it’s very relaxing. Turn on some Christmas music and enjoy the time together. You can make one large copy to work on together or print smaller copies for each person. Bonus points if you buy new crayons or pencils.
• Use it as wrapping paper for Christmas books. Or, once your family has done this, use them to wrap the last few presents on Christmas Eve – there’s no point and your kids will love seeing their colors adorn the presents under the tree on Christmas morning!
