Fantastic November Weekend Book Deals

There are a LOT of great book deals going on this weekend – sometimes I can barely find 3-4 book deals worth sharing and then other weekends, like this one, I’m AMAZED at how many great options there are!

(Also, don’t miss the Audible deal that’s going on right now – 99 cents a month for 3 months! Take two seconds to click the link and see if it offers you one!)

Audio Emma m lionAudio Emma m lion

The Unchosen Journal of Emma M. Lion by Beth Brower – audiobook – $4.99
If you’ve been here for a while, you know I love this series! I’ve read the entire series twice before it was published on audio and I’m really excited to try the audio version – wait until you hear all the narrators’ voices!

Ramona the Brave by Beverly Cleary – audiobook – $3.99
My girls listen non-stop to every Ramona book. There’s a reason why they’re still so popular, all these years later. We were listening to one of them on a trip a few years ago and Bart turned to me and said, “He’s a really good writer.” Strongly agree. (Plus, it’s a Libro.FM deal so you can use it to make Yoto cards!)

DifferentDifferent

Divergent by Veronica Roth – audiobook – $3.99
This dystopian novel topped all the charts when it was published a decade ago and is still a joy to read and listen to for adults and teens alike!

The Owl in the Family by Farley Mowat – audiobook – $1.99
I still remember my mother reading this to us on a small playground in a park in Las Vegas when I was little. It’s cute and short (be warned that it may take you a chapter or two to understand it). Plus, it’s a Libro.FM deal so you can use it to make Yoto cards!

happiness projecthappiness project

The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin – audiobook – $6.99
I LOVE Gretchen Rubin and this book, which really made her name. It’s great fun and perfect for resetting time, as I see it as the start of a new year. (Full review here)

Socks by Beverly Cleary – audiobook – $3.99
Oh, how I LOVE Beverly Clear. I think the books are probably some of the best children’s books ever written and the audio is really fun. (Plus, it’s a Libro.FM deal so you can use it to make Yoto cards!)

Wild Robot Escapes by Peter Brown – audiobook – $4.99
This is a very popular sequel Wild Robotwhich me and my girls listen to and LOVE! In this case, Roz is trying to figure out how to live in a civilized world, while trying to get back to Brightbill. (Plus, it’s a Libro.FM deal so you can use it to make Yoto cards!)

The Happy Life of Isadora BentleyThe Happy Life of Isadora Bentley

The Happy Life of Isadora Bentley by Courtney Walsh – audiobook – $3.99
I listened to the story of a reclusive university researcher who had given up on love (and basically all relationships) while I was running last summer and it was a nice distraction from the distance I was running. The heroine is Isadora who finds a magazine article with 31 ways to be happy and decides she will prove the author wrong – she will do all 31 things and there is no way she will be happier in the end. Correct? It’s a very clean love story with a STEM storyline and a lot of fun.

Dasher Can’t Wait for Christmas by Matt Tavares – audiobook – $1.99
I love this sequel to Dasher, just as much as the original. Dasher, a little reindeer, loves Christmas, and while he’s out enjoying the festivities, he gets lost. No longer able to find his way using the North Star, will Dasher be able to get home in time to help Santa? (Plus, it’s a Libro.FM deal so you can use it to make Yoto cards!)

the one and only Ivanthe one and only Ivan

The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate – audiobook – $3.99
I pretty much don’t care about animals (I know) and I STILL think this is one of the best children’s books ever, Newbery winner or not. If a book is as cute, funny, and well-written as it is, who cares if it’s told by a gorilla? Not me. (Full review here) Plus, it’s a Libro.FM deal so you can use it to make Yoto cards!

Highland Hearts Holiday Bookstore by Tricia O’Malley – audiobook – $3.99
I can never resist a great holiday read – it’s one of my weaknesses. And this one is about a woman who inherits a Scottish bookstore and perhaps finds love with the grumpy birdwatcher who keeps popping up…it sounds good!

Berlin Letter BookBerlin Letter Book

The Berlin Letters by Katherine Reay – audiobook – $5.99
Growing up in the US with her German grandparents who left Berlin in the 60s after the Berlin Wall fell, Luisa thought her parents died in a car accident. Later in his work at the CIA, he discovers information that makes him question everything he knows about his family. Could it be that his father is still alive and trapped in East Berlin? This gripping Cold War novel tells the story of a family torn apart by the Berlin Wall – told in dual timelines from the perspective of Luisa, and her father, Haris.

in the holiday bookin the holiday book

In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren – audiobook – $5.99
I read this delightful Christmas romance when it was first published and it was a delight (as are most of Christina Lauren’s books). In this case, Maelyn Jones isn’t feeling too happy – she has a crappy job, lives with her parents, and now just found out that the mountain cabin where her family spends every holiday with two other family friends is for sale. Then . . . Groundhog Day begins when he starts living the same day over and over again. If you like Sophie Kinsella’s books, this is the same (although not as funny).
