2026 Kids Summer Reading Log

Looking for a copy of children’s reading notes? Enter your email below and it will go straight to your inbox!

This is the EIGHTH year of Summer Reading Notes for Kids and I am so excited to share them with you!

This year it was designed by Audrey Fuller Art and she nailed it – I can’t wait until I get used to it.

This year it was jungle themed and I am so happy with how it turned out!

This year’s reading challenge is around the woods and at the top and bottom there are leaves where you can track your reading throughout the summer.

You can decide how you want to track it – you can color each day you read, each day you read over a certain period of time, or write down the titles of the books you read. It’s up to you what works best for your family and your schedule!

I haven’t even talked about all the cute details to color, from adorable animals to waterfalls, there’s something new to see around every corner as you go on your own jungle adventure.

And, as always, children’s summer reading notes for kids are always free! Just enter your email address below and it will go straight to your inbox, ready to print.

I love hearing from teachers who print copies for all their students to take home as end-of-year gifts or families who share them with neighbors to kick off the summer or put them in their local Little Free Library. There are lots of ways to use this free reading log for kids!

You can print them at home, but I think the most fun is to do an engineer print – it only costs a few dollars and having a large version is really fun. I have a complete overview of how to order engineer molds here. Once you do it, you’ll never go back!

And if you use these reading logs for kids this summer and share them on Instagram, please tag me (@everydayreading) and (@audreyfulllerart) so we can see them in action!

PS THE previous SEVEN Summer Reading Logs are all still available for free here, if you want them!

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
