Our favorite game for two people

It’s no secret that we are a game family.

We have a big game cabinet in the playroom of our basement, but our favorite almost never goes down and vice versa remains semi-permanent on our dining room bookshelf because they are used almost every day.

After my post about some of our favorite board games, I got a lot of requests for games for 2 people.

This game is very suitable for 2 people and the bart and I play alone after the girls go to sleep or that my girls can play together or that I play only with one of my girls.

Our favorite game for 2 people

Tickets to go up
This is a really game that makes Bart and I connect to playing games with only the two of us. I remember a lot of winter morning in the morning playing tickets to rise during the first year of our wedding. Sometimes, only to switch, each of us takes two sets of train and two main missions.

Power
I mentioned I was working on this post and registered this game and Bart said, “Have you ever played it with only two people?” Obviously he hasn’t, but Ella and I often play this one.

Cover your assets
This is clearly our game in 2019 and it’s good because even my 4 -year -old child can play very well, and you can have a large group or play with only 2 people. And fast (usually 10 minutes) and portable. We have played a lot of games covering your assets while on vacation or waiting for our oil to be replaced.

Queen Sleep
This is not what I play with other adults, but for children’s games, this is very pleasant and also playing quickly.

Settlement Catan
In Arizona, when Ella has half a day every Wednesday, we will spend an hour or more together from a special time and almost always, she chose settlers. I actually prefer to play with 2 people because the board is not so blocked.

Dutch blitz
This is one of our favorite games when we just want to play something quickly. This is perfect for 2 people or bigger groups too, so this is a destination in our home. The expansion package is cheaper and you don’t need the original one to play.

Find
This spot is a favorite of the old family who has got a lot of time playing in our family recently because the calculation found the excitement of this super simple game.

Phase 10
This game can take forever, so we usually play odds or events or even only choose 3 phases.

Splendor
This is our game in 2020 I like this game and if I have to choose one favorite game, it will be this one!

Pandemic
This is Ella’s favorite game for a while and she asks to play it every day after school. This is a collaborative game, so you all win together or lose together.

Yahtzee
I mean, not only this game for 2 people, it can also be a game for one person. Bart and I play this in the hospital after Ella was born and maybe that’s why she really likes the game.

Wingspan
If you are looking for a game that will take more time, this is a good game to get! We checked this from the library and Ella and I played it continuously – very fun!

Embedded
I like how easy this game is to learn. This is all about using the right strategy to take care of your nursery … and if you are already there for a while, you know how I love my plants. I got this one for Christmas and we play everything during the holidays.

7 Wonder
The rules are quite scary – I think Ella spends one hour trying to find ways to play, but once you know it, it is very fun and the game only takes about 15 minutes, so it’s perfect for playing at breakfast at our home. Everyone likes and Tally plays it well at the age of 6 years. If you don’t mind a little investment in advance from learning time how to play, it is interesting and strategic without stopping and every game is different. I’m a super fan.

Azul
We were captivated by this game during the Christmas holidays a few years ago when some of our friends brought it and taught it to us. This is a kind of pattern making game and easy to learn but has enough strategy to remain in attracting the game after the match.

Bear & bees
This is a simple but very pleasant game where you match the color to make a giant bee. This is quite fast and has a small deck, so it is suitable to take you or play games fast before dinner or sleep. (Do I always accidentally call it “birds and bees”? Yes, I do). Also, this is very beautiful.

Gnoming around
This is a very beautiful golf card game version of golf, where you will look for the lowest possible score. Tally and I play this one together all the time, but you can have many people playing too, great.

Tacocat
If you like to explode kittens, you will definitely like this one. There are many things that I like from this game – quite fast, the box turns into a game board and it’s good for all ages! It’s pretty sure I play this at least 3 times a week when Tally is in preschool.
