4 books that I’m reading
June is flying – We have a Bart family reunion and my big girls have a church camp and now we are mostly homes in the remaining summer, which is my absolute favorite.
I hope to adjust a little more reading for the next few weeks – Summer Day with audio books and puzzles is my favorite!
Here are the four books that I read now:

Prince Ruby by Beth Brower
This is the same writer as Journal of Emma M. Lion that was not selected And even though the beginning of the first book in this series was rather slow, I finally liked it and immediately jumped into book two. They were all included in Kindle Unlimited and I like his storytelling style. (This is one of the books on my personal summer reading list – if you miss it, the post is here!)

This happy gold year by Laura Ingalls Wilder
I have read all the series hard to my girls last year (we started the first in August when school began) and it was absolute pleasure. My girls lost their minds for watching Laura and Almanzo in love and shared this loved one from my childhood was all that I expected.

Time anxiety by Chris Guillebeau
I must have anxiety time so that when I hear about this book I know it is the one I want to read. Plus, it’s not long (audio under 6 hours!)

Ghost by Jason Reynolds
I read the first book in this series many years ago and I read the whole series now in preparation for the July book club. This book is around four children chosen for the elite high school track team – this is a team that can meet the requirements for the Junior Olympics but only if they can unite their actions.
And this is what my team is reading now!

A country damaged by Clare Leslie Hall
Geez, I can’t put this book! This is a mixture of mystery, romance and many impossible decisions. From the leap you know the farmer is dead. But who killed him? The story then jumped back to before, showing Beth and Frank’s beautiful and long marriage that was not without challenges, including losing their son. They faced other lumps on the road, when the love of Betha, Gabriel and his son Leo, moved back to a small town. Many unexpected bends that make me late reading!

Finlay Donovan dug up his own grave by Elle Cosimano
I don’t believe that there is a #5 book in the Finlay Donovan series (and #6 is scheduled to be released in March)! I fully invest in these characters and eager to audio books. Now, I know what is expected and think they are undeniable fun! In this installment Finlay and Vero hope to rest from crimes – to their nosy neighbors, Ny. Haggerty, arrested after the corpse appeared in the backyard of her house. Everything became more messy when Finlay’s ex -husband became the main suspect. Surely reading this series in sequence, because every book is closely related to past events.

Win the Game Inside by Steve Magness
I first heard the author of this book, Steve Magness, spoke as a guest on the podcast, where his insights were about resilience and embrace the discomfort with the intention to immediately attract my attention and made me explore his book Win the Inside game. He has a background in the training and consultation of elite athletes. He uses science and psychology as a basis for teaching how to make clearer decisions under pressure, recovery from setbacks and maintain high performance without fatigue.

The last word famous by Gillian Mcallister
This book has associated me from the first chapter! Camilla was heading to her first day back to work after pregnancy left when her husband disappeared leaving a faint record behind. He immediately learned that he was an armed man in a hostage situation and he could not understand how the man he knew and loved had ended in this situation.
